What does the 3-PC licence cover?

It lets you activate Visio Professional 2024 on three computers. Each activation uses one of the three slots on the key.

Because this is an LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel) build, it is not linked to a Microsoft account. That suits offices that manage software by machine rather than by person, and it means nobody has to share account passwords.

LTSC also means the feature set stays fixed. You get monthly security fixes until October 2029 but no new features, which is what most IT staff want on work PCs.

How to activate

1. On each of the three PCs, uninstall any older Visio version and any Microsoft 365 click-to-run install that would conflict.
2. Download the Visio Professional 2024 LTSC installer from the link in your order email and open the ISO (double-click mounts it in Windows 11).
3. Run the setup file and wait for installation to finish.
4. Open Visio, go to File > Account > Change Product Key, and enter the key from your email.
5. Visio activates online. Check File > Account shows “Product Activated”.

Can I install it on more than three PCs?

No. The key allows three activations. Once all three are used, a fourth PC will not activate, so plan which machines get it before you install.

Does Visio 2024 LTSC work on a Mac?

No. Visio desktop is Windows only. On a Mac you would need a Windows virtual machine with its own Windows licence.

Do I need a Microsoft account?

No. LTSC keys activate against the PC, not an account, so staff can use Visio without signing in.

Is Copilot included?

No. Visio 2024 is a one-time purchase and has no Copilot or AI features. Those are only in Microsoft 365 subscriptions.

How long will it get updates?

Microsoft provides security updates for Visio LTSC 2024 until 9 October 2029. It keeps working after that, but without security fixes.

Can I move it to a new PC later?

Usually yes. Uninstall from the old PC first. If the key reports it has run out of activations, open a support ticket and we will help.

Will it open files from older Visio versions?

Yes. Visio 2024 opens VSDX files and older VSD files from Visio 2010 to 2021.
