Visio Professional 2024 retail is a one-time licence for one Windows PC that you redeem to your own Microsoft account. After that, you install and reinstall Visio by signing in, with no ISO files or key to keep track of. It has the full Professional feature set: data-linked diagrams, BPMN and UML, and network and engineering stencils.

What does “binds to your Microsoft account” mean?
When you redeem the key, Microsoft attaches the licence to the account you are signed in with. The key is used up at that point and the account becomes the licence.
The practical benefit shows up later. If your PC dies or you replace it, you sign in on the new machine, download Visio from your account page and it activates. You do not need the original email or key.
One point to get right at the start: redeem it to the account you plan to keep. Microsoft does not move retail licences between accounts.

How to activate
- Go to microsoft365.com/setup (the old office.com/setup address redirects there) and sign in with the Microsoft account you want the licence on.
- Enter the 25-character key from your order email. The licence now sits in that account.
- From your account’s Services & subscriptions page, choose Install and run the downloaded file.
- Open Visio and sign in with the same account. It activates automatically.

Can I reinstall Visio after resetting my PC?
Yes. Sign in to your Microsoft account, open Services & subscriptions and install again. It reactivates on one PC at a time.
Can I transfer it to another Microsoft account?
No. Once redeemed, a retail licence stays on that account. Check you are signed in to the right account before entering the key.
How many PCs can use it?
One at a time. You can move it to a new PC by uninstalling from the old one and installing from your account.
Does it run on a Mac?
No. Visio has no macOS desktop app. You would need Windows in a virtual machine.
Is Copilot part of Visio Professional 2024?
No. This one-time purchase has no Copilot or AI features.
What happens after 9 October 2029?
Visio keeps working, but Microsoft stops sending security updates for it.
The setup page says the key is already used. What now?
Check if you, or someone else, already redeemed it to a different account. If not, open a ticket with a screenshot and we will sort it out.

Refunds
Once a purchased software package has been activated or an activation has been attempted through an online activation site, the package becomes none refundable But in serious matters, we can refund on Wincdkey wallet. So you can use every product. We cannot add the software package to our stock if an activation has been completed or attempted.
We cannot issue a refund if a customer has purchased the wrong product. Rather then we can change it if he not try to active it

Exchanges
Microsoft Softwares will exchange software purchases for up to 30 days after order completion but only if the software has not been downloaded by the customer, you can also return your purchased software within 30 days if the software remains none downloaded for a full refund.
Redemption or Activation:
After purchasing keys, you will get a voucher code which is needed to redeem. this voucher code have a lifetime validity but once redeem it then you need to activate your windows or office within 7 working days.
Refund process
Refunds will be credited back to the credit/debit card that customers used to place their order, refunds are processed from our platform immediately the time taken to credit to the customer depends entirely on the customers card issuer and/or bank account.
