You redeem the key once to your Microsoft account, then install and reinstall by signing in. It covers flowcharts, org charts, floor plans and basic network sketches, without the data-linking and technical stencils of Professional.

What can you draw with Visio Standard 2024?
Standard handles the diagrams most offices need: process flowcharts, organisation charts, timelines, simple floor plans, brainstorming maps and basic network layouts.
New in 2024 are extra icons, sticky notes and infographic shapes, the Office 2024 theme, and search moved to the title bar so shapes are quicker to find. Microsoft lists everything on its What’s new in Visio 2024 page.
What it does not do: Standard cannot link shapes to Excel or SQL data, has no Data Visualizer, and leaves out BPMN, UML and detailed IT or engineering stencils. There is no Copilot either.

If any of the “No” rows matter to you, go for Visio Professional 2024 retail instead. Upgrading later means buying a new licence.
Why choose the account-linked version?
Because the licence lives in your Microsoft account, a new laptop or a Windows reset is not a problem. You sign in, download Visio and it activates. There is no key or ISO to dig out.
The one rule: redeem the key to the account you will keep using. Retail licences cannot be moved between accounts afterwards.

How to activate
- Go to microsoft365.com/setup (the old office.com/setup address redirects there) and sign in with the Microsoft account you want the licence on.
- Enter the 25-character key from your order email. The licence now sits in that account.
- From your account’s Services & subscriptions page, choose Install and run the downloaded file.
- Open Visio and sign in with the same account. It activates automatically.

What is the difference between Visio Standard and Professional 2024?
Professional adds data-linked shapes, Data Visualizer, and BPMN, UML, network and engineering stencils. Standard covers general business diagrams only.
Can I reinstall it on a new PC?
Yes. Sign in to your Microsoft account on the new PC and install from Services & subscriptions. It runs on one PC at a time.
Can I use Visio Standard 2024 on a Mac?
No. Visio has no macOS desktop version. You would need Windows running in a virtual machine.
Does it include Copilot or AI features?
No. Visio Standard 2024 is a one-time purchase with no Copilot.
Can I move the licence to a different Microsoft account?
No. Once redeemed it stays on that account, so use the account you plan to keep.
Will it open diagrams made in Visio Professional?
Yes, it opens them. Data links and Professional-only shapes may show as static or limited.
How long is it supported?
Microsoft security updates continue until 9 October 2029. Visio keeps working after that date without new fixes.

Refunds
Once a purchased software package has been activated or an activation has been attempted through an online activation site, the package becomes none refundable But in serious matters, we can refund on Wincdkey wallet. So you can use every product. We cannot add the software package to our stock if an activation has been completed or attempted.

Exchanges
Microsoft Softwares will exchange software purchases for up to 30 days after order completion but only if the software has not been downloaded by the customer, you can also return your purchased software within 30 days if the software remains none downloaded for a full refund.
Redemption or Activation:
After purchasing keys, you will get a voucher code which is needed to redeem. this voucher code have a lifetime validity but once redeem it then you need to activate your windows or office within 7 working days.
Refund process
Refunds will be credited back to the credit/debit card that customers used to place their order, refunds are processed from our platform immediately the time taken to credit to the customer depends entirely on the customers card issuer and/or bank account.
