What does Pro for Workstations add over Windows 11 Pro?
- More hardware: up to 4 CPU sockets and up to 6 TB of RAM. Standard Pro stops at 2 sockets and 2 TB.
- ReFS (Resilient File System): detects data corruption on mirrored storage and repairs it from the good copy, which protects large project files.
- Persistent memory: supports NVDIMM-N modules, so files on that memory survive a power-off and load at memory speed.
- SMB Direct: uses RDMA network adapters to move files between machines with lower latency and less CPU load.
It also keeps all of Windows 11 Pro: BitLocker, Hyper-V, Remote Desktop host, Group Policy, Windows Sandbox and Microsoft Entra ID join.

Be honest with yourself about the hardware. On a typical single-CPU desktop with a normal network card, these extras do nothing, and Windows 11 Pro is the better buy.

Microsoft keeps the official list on its Windows 11 specifications page. Before buying, check that your motherboard and CPUs are certified for Windows 11 and that your RDMA adapters have current Windows 11 drivers, because older server-grade cards sometimes only ship drivers for Windows Server.
How to activate
If Windows 11 Pro is already installed, you do not need to reinstall.
- Open Settings > System > Activation.
- Select Change product key and enter the key from your email.
- Windows switches the edition to Pro for Workstations and restarts.
- Check the Activation page shows “Windows is activated”.

Can I upgrade from Windows 11 Pro without reinstalling?
Yes. Enter the Pro for Workstations key under Settings > System > Activation > Change product key. Windows changes edition and keeps your files and apps.
Will it make my PC faster?
Only on suitable hardware. The gains come from more CPU sockets, more RAM, persistent memory and RDMA networking. On an ordinary desktop it behaves like Windows 11 Pro.
Does it work on Windows 10 PCs?
It is a Windows 11 key, so the PC must meet Windows 11 requirements, including TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot.
Can I move the licence to another PC?
That depends on how the key was issued. If you replace hardware and activation fails, open a support ticket and we will advise.
Is this the same as Windows 11 Enterprise?
No. Enterprise is a volume edition with extra management and security features. Pro for Workstations is aimed at high-end hardware, not fleet management.
How quickly is the key delivered?
Usually within minutes by email. Check your spam folder if it has not arrived.
Can I get a refund if it does not activate?
If we cannot fix the activation problem, our refund and returns policy applies.
Refunds
Once a purchased software package has been activated or an activation has been attempted through an online activation site, the package becomes none refundable But in serious matters, we can refund on Wincdkey wallet. So you can use every product. We cannot add the software package to our stock if an activation has been completed or attempted.
We cannot issue a refund if a customer has purchased the wrong product. Rather then we can change it if he not try to active it

Microsoft Softwares will exchange software purchases for up to 30 days after order completion but only if the software has not been downloaded by the customer, you can also return your purchased software within 30 days if the software remains none downloaded for a full refund.

After purchasing keys, you will get a voucher code which is needed to redeem. this voucher code have a lifetime validity but once redeem it then you need to activate your windows or office within 7 working days.
