Microsoft Access 2024 is the standalone, one-time purchase version of Microsoft’s desktop database. This licence covers one Windows PC, activates online, and comes with no subscription. It suits people who build or maintain Access databases for stock lists, customer records, small accounting tools or departmental apps, and who don’t want to pay for a whole Office suite to get it.

Who should buy Access 2024 on its own?
Standalone Access 2024 is the right choice if you already have Word and Excel, or don’t need them, and only want Access. If you also want Word, Excel and Outlook, Office 2024 Professional Plus includes Access as well and often works out better value.
Access runs on Windows only. There has never been a Mac version, so Mac users would need to run Windows in a virtual machine.
Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscriptions already include Access for PC. If you have one of those, you don’t need to buy it separately.

Access 2024 keeps everything from Access 2021 and adds practical improvements for people who maintain databases:
- Edge Browser Control: show modern web pages inside an Access form, replacing the old Internet Explorer-based control.
- Code signing: sign your database and VBA code so users and IT teams can trust it.
- Dataverse connector: link Access tables to Microsoft Dataverse and the Power Platform.
- Better behaviour with SQL Server: more reliable handling of broken connections to linked SQL Server tables, plus support for more tables and connections.
- Faster everyday tasks: open queries straight into SQL view from the navigation pane, and turn off the repeated warning when you open linked tables in Design View.

Will my existing databases open in Access 2024?
Yes. Access 2024 uses the same .accdb file format as Access 2010 through 2021, so existing databases open without conversion. Older .mdb files from Access 2003 and earlier can be converted using the built-in tools.
If your database relies on 32-bit ActiveX controls or old API declarations, install the 32-bit version of Access, or update your VBA before switching to 64-bit.
How do I install and activate Access 2024?
Download Access from the link in your order email, install it, and enter the key when Access asks for it. The steps are below.
- Remove any older or trial copy of Access, or any Office version that conflicts with it, using Settings > Apps.
- Download the Access 2024 installer from the link in your order email and run it.
- Open Access. When prompted, enter the 25-character product key.
- Access activates online. Check the result under File > Account, where it should show Product Activated.

Is Access 2024 a one-time purchase?
Yes. This is the perpetual standalone version. You pay once and keep using the installed version with no subscription. Microsoft supports the Office 2024 release with security updates until 9 October 2029.
Does Access 2024 work on a Mac?
No. Access is a Windows-only application. On a Mac you would need to run Windows in a virtual machine, such as Parallels on Intel or Apple silicon Macs.
Can I install Access 2024 next to Microsoft 365?
Usually not. Different Office installation types often clash on the same PC. If you already have Microsoft 365 Personal or Family, Access is already included, so you don’t need this licence.
How many PCs can I install it on?
One. Each key activates Access on a single Windows PC.
Can I use Access 2024 for business?
Yes. Standalone Access 2024 can be used commercially, whether for a small company or for a single department’s database.
What if activation fails?
Write down the message shown under File > Account and open a support ticket. Our refund and replacement policy covers keys that don’t activate.

Refunds
Once a purchased software package has been activated or an activation has been attempted through an online activation site, the package becomes none refundable But in serious matters, we can refund on Wincdkey wallet. Exchanges
Microsoft Softwares will exchange software purchases for up to 30 days after order completion but only if the software has not been downloaded by the customer, you can also return your purchased software within 30 days if the software remains none downloaded for a full refund.
Redemption or Activation:
After purchasing keys, you will get a voucher code which is needed to redeem. this voucher code have a lifetime validity but once redeem it then you need to activate your windows or office within 7 working days.
Refund process
Refunds will be credited back to the credit/debit card that customers used to place their order, refunds are processed from our platform immediately the time taken to credit to the customer depends entirely on the customers card issuer and/or bank account.
